Nicolas (amanico) brings to light the often-overlooked Maserati Khamsin, a grand tourer from 1976 that embodies a distinct era of automotive design. His post, featuring captivating images, invites enthusiasts to appreciate the unique charm and character of a car that, despite its pedigree, remains less known than its contemporaries. This article delves into the Khamsin's design and the community's insights into its historical context and driving experience.

It was always the same with the reviewers, they did not undersrand that Maserati made exquiste, very high performance GT cars, not track cars for the road, and consequently damned them with faint praise. I don't think that they were any less reliable than their peers, but the steady drip of lack of enthusiasm took its toll. Very sad. I once drove a Khamsin, getting used to the Citroen hydraulics was a challenge in a car with such performance potential! Thank you for posting. Kind regards Antony
Indeed a far cry from most of what’s on the road these days. I love how the cockpits of these Italian GTs make me want a cigar and a glass of scotch. And back then you could probably get away with having both while driving.
