In a thought-provoking post, WatchProSite author 'Cookies' challenges the community with a hypothetical: if you could only own one watch, what would it be? This perennial question, often debated among collectors, forces a re-evaluation of personal values, practical needs, and aspirational desires within the world of horology. Cookies's clear personal answer sets the stage for a fascinating exploration of what truly defines a 'one-watch collection' for enthusiasts.

The datejust has always been my favorite watch and the one I feel emotionally attached to the most
I can definitely feel it can be an only watch. And a very regal daily watch it is. Nice!
Ok, if I had two guns on my head, and that I was forced to choose... Then... I would choose the guns. ))) More seriously, I think this one: There is something very romantic to end with the watch which started all, in my love for watches...
It does the job of an everyday watch really well
For me it would have to be a dive watch, not only for water resistance but also for lume and the bezel as a 60min timer and to take daily abuse. In the current state of my collection it would be a hard choice between my pam25 or my searambler.
I can dress it up or down, it looks good on a leather, rubber or bracelet. It is water resistant enough. There really just isn't something it can't do! I've had mine since 2003 or 2004 and it is still, by far, my most worn watch.I absolutely love it.
