As the watch has no running seconds, the pulsating red dot tells you that it’s wound and running. Ours is unique in that they made it a heart instead of a round dot. Primarily worn by my wife but I do get to sneak in on occasion

But much more often, especially as it runs on a separate rail system, not shared with regular passenger and cargo trains.
