Love:

-Fit and the way it wears on my 7 inch wrist
-Textured dial
-Integrated bracelet and genta case=cool vintage vibe

Not sure about:

-Dial color: It’s green, aqua and teal. It IS NOT dark blue
-Similar movement is found in watches costing much less
-Wears slightly smaller than 40 mm case size, maybe more like 38-39

The question:

This gives me something to think about… I’m considering trading my 42 mm GP Laureato for it. The GP feels more premium to me, and has a true manufacturer movement plus my favorite color dial, blue. The GP bezel is also more unique and makes more of a statement . The challenge: The 42 mm GP wears a touch big on me. The 38 mm GP Laureato is a bit too small. So this IWC sits right in the middle at 40 mm. Hmmmmm…

Have you tried…

The 41mm limited edition Laureato then? Might be the right size between the 42 and 38 😊👍🏻

I was just

PM’ing with our resident GP expert SingaporeMarc, and he also made this suggestion. The current version speaks to me more due to the larger GP logo at 12 and the color matched date wheel! Great suggestion , thank you!

I can't believe I will say this! But visually I prefer the IWC. I am not sure I like of the 42mm Laureato bracelet is so large at the lug and then tappers. I actually find the IWC dial very appealing. The only downside for me on the IWC is the

movement compared tot he Laureato. But what does your hearth says? Which one you feel you want to wear? That is the only relevant question I think

My thoughts too

Surprised but the iwc looks better on you. I say buy what you think you'll wear! My pilot chrono has a valjoux base, perfectly fine for me imo

yeah for me if the movement is well regulated it would be ok
