Fastwong's recent post about preparing his car for summer sparked a lively discussion among enthusiasts. He delves into the world of Deman Motorsport, a specialist known for transforming Porsche GT models into high-horsepower, naturally aspirated machines. Fastwong's reflections on the pursuit of 'more' versus 'less' in automotive performance resonate with many collectors who appreciate both raw power and the nuanced joy of driving.

At least on the street. My 86 is fun on the street because you can flog it and itโs still going relatively reasonable speeds. For the track, I do enjoy a bit more oomph. ๐
Looks very nice ๐
Youโre gonna need the grip๐โฆ๐๐๐
My favorite brand, as you may have seenโฆI would lose my license in a week. ๐
Equal to sending in your tourbillon for service 10 times... let's face it, power and going fast is expensive. Not saying I haven't spent plenty in this direction in the past but I'm over it (for this week, anyway) ๐ Cazalea
Maybe the most fun car I ever had on street or track was my '88 M5, on little 225s you could pick your angle. I think we all need to go back to skinny tires, being able to rotate and slide a car a low speeds was lost as Nurburgring times for street cars has became a thing. On the track all the power and grip are nice but on the road, maybe all a little numbing....
