InDebtButOnTime, a seasoned enthusiast, shares his latest acquisition: a 2024 Mazda MX-5 Club. This article delves into his decision to upgrade from a 2021 GT model, driven by a desire to secure a pure internal combustion experience before potential future electrification. Compared to the '21 I've lost some never used luxury gadgets but gained BBS wheels, Brembos and (wonderful) Recarro seats. A new improved ltd slip diff, upgraded infotainment system new steering rack and software, firmer Bilstein shocks, new exterior lighting front and rear and more. I have to say I am yet to try the MX-5 but certainly sounds exciting 😊 Almost took one for a road trip some years ago but the lack of boot space would have been a problem 🤷🏻♂️ One day… 🤞🏻 Enjoy yours to the fullest!
super collectable... even if it is faster in a straight line.
That was a great car !
I had the pleasure of trying the 1.5 ND when it came out back in ... 2016 - ish ? Even with my 6foot6 (198cm) I could fit in the car .. just. The engine might have been e bit underpowered (130 hp) but that didn't stop me from having a lot of fun. You made the right decision buying this one. Filip
upping the redline and adding around 30 hp its performance was suddenly in the same ballpark as a Honda S-2000. My 2021 seemed pretty dialed in and refined but the 2024 ND-3 is even better. The latest upgrades help the car corner flatter and with less oversteer at the limit and the new steering upgrades provide better on center feel. Have a great day Filip!
