I think it is another great release from Longines... they're doing great job in re-releases imho.

Cushion case at 43mm x 13mm with a lug-to-lug of 49mm.

5Hz Automatic movement with Silicon balance spring.

the cherry on the cake....it comes with a Ultra-Chronometer certificate, the watch is tested with case nonetheless here the spec is -4 to +6 seconds

I love the fact that there is 'no-date' window + I prefer the strap over bracelet...

overall I think - a vintage feel but with a modern heart ?!

The strap looks good. Not feeling the bracelet for some reason, but I'd buy it with that since it's only a $200 upcharge and you can swap in any strap later. I like that Longines is digging back into the archives to bring back some classics. Up until the quartz crisis they really were making great stuff. This is also the benefit of being in the Swatch group the Silicon Hairspring directly comes from Breguet kind of like F1 tech dropping down to regular cars eventually. They also mimicked their f

Would love to see Longines put this movement in smaller case and more simple time only, daily robust watch like rolex oyster perpetual or iwc Ingenieur

Like the vintage style, and the no date. A practical, handsome, everyday timepiece. I would have preferred a few millimetres thinner and smaller. Still, good looking watch.

true it would have been small but as a diver - given the lug-to-lug is 49mm it should fit smaller than a Sub I think.
