Chronometer (aka yacomino) presents a compelling side-by-side comparison of two modern sector dial watches: the Longines Heritage Classic and the Omega CK 859. This article delves into Chronometer's personal experience owning both, offering a unique perspective on their similarities and distinct characteristics. Readers will gain insight into the nuanced differences that define these popular interpretations of a classic dial design.

I like the vintage omega logo and recessed sub seconds and the shape of the hands. Everytime one gets posted I start making justification in my head 🤣 Longines is cool in its own but prefer the omega in this duo. Longines with milanese bracelet is slick.
But the dial on the Longines is too good! I'd go for that one, maybe in black.
In this dilema of not being an easy choice I feel the best solution is go for your move: own both! Lol! Enjoy them so much my friend and in the best of good health! Cheers! Abel
Another handsome sector dial to consider that’s closer to the CK859 in price is the (now discontinued) JLC Master Control Sector Dial. It’s significantly thinner, but it does have a date window that is a turn off for some. Or own all three for the sector dial trifecta!
Edit: Hodinkee Special Edition?
More expensive, more technology and high finishing.
