Ubik's post captures the essence of WatchProSite's community spirit, showcasing an impromptu London gathering of collectors. This article highlights the camaraderie and shared passion for horology that defines these meetups, offering a glimpse into the diverse and exquisite watches brought together by enthusiasts. It underscores the enduring value of in-person connections in the digital age of watch collecting.

This week a few of us managed to get together for a few stolen hours indulging ourselves with some beautiful gems and conversation.

Guest of honour was Blomman who made a flying visit to our rainy shores.

A few of us die hards wangled some time off in the afternoon and then we were joined by a few more in the evening for a delicious meal.

Thanks to all who came and made it a wonderful day.

Here are some pictures from the afternoon (I must have been too overwhelmed in the evening, because I didn't take any pics of that)

Let me set the scene.

 A few divers

On the wrist it takes your breath away.

Some surf and turf.

A new love, elegant and with hidden strength.

A dial you could die for.

Look carefully, a rare flash of red on this beautiful classic. Mmmmmmm.

Playing the blues.

Be still my chiming heart.

One that needs no introduction - much like it's owner.

An interesting theme - antimagnetic watches.

I think many of us fell in love with this lovely lady. A stunning pointed crown guard GMT. OMG.

The only moment of sadness. One Bastardo who was missing. An empty chair in his honour.

Then off to dinner.

Ubik (Is from the Philip K. Dick's book?), Thanks for sharing. I believe that over the table there are the most desired watches around (bar Vlad's) Cheers, Nilo

Was on to write you and Joe and Imran to take some news. But sometimes, real life doesn't allow us to do what we would love to do. I feel a next opportunity will come soon. Anyway, friends, friendly watches, and great moments are always a pleasure to see, if you can't live it. I was with you, in my houghts. Great array of watches, and very happy to see that Blomman could do it. He's a top notch guy who would deserve to include our " Bastardos Club ". All the best, my friends. Nicolas

It was indeed a fabulous day. Yes.....10/10 for Bloman for making the trip over...that is true passion.....and most definitely a Bastardo. Is it my imagination, or is Imran's wrist getting bigger?

Irman is doing very well these days. That is what you need to wear a 372. Best, my friend, and hope to see you soon! Nico
