Credit picture; Christies. Olive pushers, lovely crown, timeless dial, a case with great proportions ( 37 mm ) but which wears bigger, and cherry on the cake, the condition! AND, the box, and... the papers? Yes, a lovely time capsule. And truly my cup of tea! Best, Nicolas

I believe this is the time when Omega and Tissot owned Lemania and encouraged watch, not only movement, production. -Dean

Nico I believe Omega chronographs were all Lemania movements. The 15 TL was renamed the Omega 33.3. They also created the Lemania 27 ch which was the basis of the Omega 321.

They also sold this one... Which is not a Lemania, nor a Chronograph housing a Lemania movement... While the text say: " For your clientele's satisfaction, do only sell one quality chronograph... " In fact, they meant two.

I also believe that Lemania supplied Omega and consequentially Tissot with the 15TL calibre, renamed 33.3. For me the 15TL with, which stands in the Olympus of the chrono movements and which equipped some of the most beautiful chronos ever. However, as Ubik, said in 1948 Lemania launched the calibre 27 CHRO 12C on which Omega developed the legendary 321.

Maybe the 13ZN is the greatest of them all...
