Emmanuel, known as quattro on WatchProSite, masterfully highlights two horological gems: the LeCoultre Baron and the Patek Philippe Ref. 3413. His insightful comparison draws attention to their shared diamond-shaped dial aesthetic, a design choice that sets these vintage pieces apart. This article, inspired by Emmanuel's original post, delves into the unique characteristics and historical context of these distinctive timepieces, making them discoverable for new generations of collectors.

When I discovered by chance the other day the LeCoultre Baron with its diamond-shaped dial, I immediately thought of the Patek Philippe ref. 3413 designed by Gilbert Albert (which I had left out in my previous thread concerning Three Gilbert Albert designed Patek Philippe). So I thought it would be nice to present them together.

To my surprise, the LeCoultre Baron isn't as unknown as I thought it was. If you want to know more about this watch, you might want to check the following links:

Best to you all,
Emmanuel
