howdy folks,

I am please to share the arrival of my long awaited LF Galet micro rotor, which I understand is the first piece to arrive in Singapore. I ordered this at the same time when I received my MBnF LM1 in Jan.......................and...........................................its been a looooooooooooooooong wait. let me share some photos with you first, and full report will be written in due course. and what a great timing as well. The LF Galet has passed the ISO3159,  just been certified "chronometer" by Besancon Observatory and receives the official "Bulletin de march au Chronometre" title.

normally, i do not post my new acquisitions. but will make an exception this time, and who knows, this could be a start...

Independence League of Justice.....Laurent Ferrier leading the VH, MBF, Habring, BLU, PSM, FPJ, De Bethune, Moser.......we will right the wrong of Patek smile-

as if I needed more stimulation.....

supper....I was so excited that I forgot I had a formal dinner gig!!!

trying to do a small luxury world....without success obviously.

the box....not surprisingly very Patek

the inside.....comes with loupe, leather carrying wallet, cloth.

with loupe and outer box for background

view of where the magic happens....will write about the technical aspects in next report.

meeting with a fellow collector, the first guy to see it live.

thanks for allowing me to share this personally joyous occasion. something for the Treasury Secretary cum Chancellor of the Exchequer to prevent landing in the doghouse.

thanks for allowing me to share this joyous occasion with you folks....till the full experiential report next...

Best,

Horo

I can imagine how long it felt waiting !

and I can say that it must be today one of the watches I like most in this field. Hence I'm really looking forward to reading your review, like many folks on this forum I think. Huge congratz for this very high-end classic, elegant and technical watch. The finish seems amazing on the pics I could see before. Wear it in good health Horo ;) Best, Mark

I hate to wait, but have come to realize..

The best pieces and most collectable, one should be patient. Took me years to realize, and more often then not in my youth, I buy what is available immediately and on the shelf of the AD. Do you hate the wait? And if so, have you attempted to temper the urge? Best, Horo

I'm like you

In fact I've always been lucky that the watches I was looking to purchase where available (even the wire transfer wait is too long :p). I really don't know what I would do if I was annouced a 6 months or 1 year delivery time for example. I thought about that concerning the watches produced in a very small number : I didn't have to find an answer yet but it will be a hard one... Cheers, Mark

As one move "up" the horological ladder..it's becoming difficult to have ,,,

Instant gratification pieces, and perhaps, one good thing about this hobby is that it "trains" us to have in the words of my favourite rock band Guns & Roses.... "A Little Patience" Best, and HAGWE Horo

I hope you like the Independence League gig :)-

And thanks for the congrats. Waited a long time, anything more then 3 months for me is a lot, I know others differ in timeframe considerations. Best, Horo
