Especially given the recent threads involving Zeitwerks, I'm motivated to post these photos of two great PT pieces taken a few months ago -- the "standard" PT watch and the "stealth" Luminous.

Each the property of a separate Gentleman Purist and friend -- and I'm the lucky one who got to photograph them!

To begin, some side by side shots:

On to the "standard" PT piece -- in a poll at a recent dinner, this one got a slight edge in the opinion poll over the Luminous, although both are awesome in my humble opinion

And now, the Luminous.  Not that easy to photograph -- I wanted to show the "inner workings" without over-illuminating the watch.  A great way to spend an afternoon!

Hope you enjoyed these.  As always, all comments, questions, and criticisms welcomed!

All the best,

Gary G

Well the " Night Club " Luminous Zeitwerk is less and less my cup of tea.

While the very sober Pt Zeitwerk is an interesitng offer, fro those who appreciate the digital display of time... I love less and less the concept, and more and more the movement of this Zeitwerk... Which is a real problem. Best, Nicolas.

Not sure I can help!

Great photo to capture the Stealth

I like the idea of the Stealth a lot, but I feel the Zeitwerk is not the watch to show it. The use of digital time is in my mind a way to show the simple side of time telling, while the reverse shows the magic and effort that goes into making something that, in the end, seems very simple. And it is this contrast of the Zeitwerk that really appeals to me. I feel the Stealth takes away from that aspect. But of course if the watch was ever offered to me, I would take it in a heartbeat I did try out

Thanks, Imran

Of the set, I might actually pick the WG myself -- good news is that I can meet with friends and have access to the whole range... Best, Gary

Beautiful shots Gary!

I love the subdued and elegant look of the Platinum ZW. It is stealthy and classic "New Age" Lange IMHO. I also think the understated dial allows the watch to speak for itself vs. being overpowered by a bold dial. I love all of the ZW's and each has a different effect on me but the Platinum Silver ZW speaks to me most. You did a great job capturing it's essence!

I guess the PT/silver ZW does speak to you!

Great acquisition! Best, Gary
