This past week I traveled to the Western coast of Canada for meetings. Besides escaping the concrete jungle and enjoying the refreshing perspective one gets when working in Vancouver, it gave me the chance to meet another passionate Lange enthusiast whom I had missed connecting with when visiting earlier this year.

In meeting for a drink along the waterfront, I was finally able to get some wrist-time with the original Dato.. and I came away with overwhelmingly positive feelings.

The conversation was great, and it's nice to hear how interconnected members of the forum are. Hopefully in the future when I get back to the coast we can coax some other North-Western US based members to join us for a larger gathering wink

A few pictures of the meetup.. I think the Zeitwerk and Dato make a formidable duo!

Would not be hard having this as a view from the office

The flight made all the better wearing my digital companion,

Digital and Classic; WG and PT

Gratuitous movement shots

And finally, on my wrist!

I particularly enjoyed the dark brown strap, a Camille Fournet with deployant.. the quality in the leather was wonderful.

A final parting shot before returning home in the morning, hope to be back soon!

Have a great start to your week,

Colton

That all but sealed my intentions..

However intentions are far from a final decision ;) I am building up the watch fund, but it will be a while before I can think of acquiring. I agree with you, getting to meet others on the forum and sharing in our passion for Lange can't be beat. Best, Colton

Superb photos

You have great taste from one Canadian Lange enthusiast to another. The original Dato is one of my favourite Lange's along with the RL 3 hand and PLM. Best, Edward
