I agree with you on all counts, apart from excluding it from the strict criteria of being a dress watch.

Very flexible

With the right strap, the Zeitwerk is the most flexible Lange out there IMO. I wore mine with a hoodie for most of 2020.

I can imagine that a hoodie works with the Zeitwerk
