Jay (Eire) shares a personal reflection on his evolving appreciation for A. Lange & Söhne, specifically highlighting the Richard Lange. He delves into how this particular reference, despite some historical controversy, embodies the aesthetic of earlier Lange models that he initially overlooked. His post offers a candid look at a collector's journey, making a strong case for revisiting watches that might not have resonated initially.

I think this is one of the purest AL&S watches out there. Is the CS of FPJ IMO with So much to offer. The first time I saw this watch in person I thought the size and parameters were about as good as you can get without throwing too much out there and think it holds truth today. Great post and watch, thank you
On my wrist at the start of the week.
It is the epitome of a watch lover’s watch imho
I've added 4 Lange pieces this year. Everything about my collection seem to gravitate towards ALS... Enjoy the ride!
For me, that might not have been a good thing as part of the attraction of this watch is that it is a little more casual. Maybe I’m wrong on that, I guess (or hope) we will never know !
I’ve been looking at some others but outside of a Zeitwerk and a yellow gold Lange 1 (earlier version) nothing else really grabs my attention. And the ZW is unlikely as it’s really too much for my wrist.
