To me, the date holds a personal significance because it happens to be my birthday. A most happy coincidence for a Lange fan.

And this day is made even more special because I finally obtained my grail.

It seems unreal to finally be able to call the Datograph Perpetual my own. Do give me some time to compose myself and to set the calendar properly.

I really have to count my blessings, and thank all who made this possible. My fellow Purists, you play a big part in this journey, and I am most grateful for the generous sharing and companionship.

Here's a shout-out to Mr Alex Tay of WatchBox Singapore for his immense resourcefulness in making this possible. Above all, this has been my most pleasant experience in watch acquisition since starting the slippery slope of watch collecting, and I have to thank him for it. A pity he couldn't pass me the watch in person today, but the lovely Lynn was more than a great help. Kudos to the fantastic team in Singapore!
