KIH offers an exclusive look inside the A. Lange & Söhne New York Boutique shortly after its opening. His detailed photo report highlights the unique architectural and display elements that set this location apart, including special exhibits and design choices distinct from other Lange boutiques worldwide. This post provides valuable historical context for collectors interested in the brand's global retail presence.

Belatedly (I missed the opening event, I missed the Oktober Fest, the day before yesterday), I could finally visit A. Lange & Sohne New York Boutique.

Here it is.  Notice a bit of difference from most of other boutiques in other regions.

On Madison, between 66th and 67th.

Gaetan says it took more than a few years to find the suitable location.

Obviously, a different approach for a Lange boutique.

There is the second floor, and the famous wall clock is here.

The same fixtures.....

This is new smile

Ah, and the kitchen cabinet smile

Display case is a bit different, too.

On the wall are the movements of Lange ever made - this is new!

They didn't have this special NY Boutique Edition, yet.

... and on the second floor are....

Now, showing wonderful pieces borrowed from a private collector, just for now.....  Wow!

Sorry for bad color - this is PT, blue dial original PLM.

Continues....

And looking down where I entered and looked up.

This is the second floor space.

And on the other hand (near the stairs) is the watchmaker's bench where someone from Germany will sit on weekdays to handle customer service.

Secret door to the second floor smile

They use lots of natural lights, on both floors.  Very nice idea.

And, hard-to-find pieces in their stock.

Surely, even the desk has ALS logo.

It was so very nice to see you, Gaetan, and congratulations to have such a wonderful boutique!  Will stop buy whenever I visit NY.

Special thanks to Gaetan and Lange USA, Lange NY Boutique Staff (including but not limited to Lindsey), Lange Japan who has coordinated with them, and Alkis and Stacy, of course.

A very nice boutique, indeed.

Many thanks!

Best,
Ken

Your pictures really show the specific lay-out of the boutique and the nice decoration details. And you were welcomed by Gaetem himself! Thanks a lot for the report!

I hope you enjoy your stay in the city. Your pictures are great, its much easier to take them without a party going on! It looks like a decent percentage of the watches there are being borrowed from a collector? Tony
