Ch1982's candid post about the A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus's lug design and its impact on wearability sparks a crucial discussion for collectors considering this reference. His experience highlights how a watch's dimensions, particularly lug-to-lug, can affect comfort and wrist presence, even on a timepiece of this caliber. This thread offers valuable insights into managing the perception of size and weight for a daily luxury sports watch.

It does look slightly large for your wrist, but I wouldn't say unacceptable....
I value wearing comfort above just about anything else...
but, your vote is the only one that counts
Perhaps this isn't the watch for you?
because of its guilloche dial. But, on this photo, it definitely looks slightly too large for your wrist. Photos are tricky though and make any watch look bigger than it is in real life. So the only thing that matters is your personal feeling when the watch is on your wrist. Best, Emmanuel
The endlinks in the middle of the strap extends way beyond your wrist.. I understand it’s 52mm endlink to endlink despite it being only 40mm In my opinion the lugs and links on this watch is really unflattering
