If you are then I cannot see how you can pass on the Saxonia Thin. Besides being simply beautiful (and beautifully simple); besides costing about 60% of a Calatrava (only a Cartier Tank is in this "elegance/price" league); and besides its stunning finishing...I forgot where I was going. Oh! Size! It is about perfect in size-for anyone-as a dress watch.
Your points cover all the important areas and would be difficult to argue against!
Don't argue. Buy.
Best wishes Alkiro
Repeatedly over the past 2 years, I have come back to the conclusion the small Lange thin saxonia is a purchase you make with your brain but not your heart. It is great value and so perfect in so many ways but ... it’s just dull after a while. I would sooner have the more versatile 1815 which is more dynamic and versatile. Or the Lange 1 of course ... is that the ladies model in the photo? Nothing wrong with that! Best
I could never make any purchase without my heart being involved!! I always advise my friends never to buy a watch if they like it, buy it only if they love it! I agree that the more elaborate dial of the Lange 1 makes it a joy to ogle at especially in its guilloched form. But I do love the Saxonia thin, not because it is priced reasonably but I generally like simple two and three handed watches. There is something about an uncluttered dial that speaks volumes in the sphere of elegance and class
