Amanico shares his profound admiration for the A. Lange & Söhne Langematik Anniversary, declaring it his favorite Lange, even over the iconic Datograph. His post, featuring stunning photography, delves into the watch's exceptional movement, superb enamel dial, and elegant case, inviting fellow collectors to appreciate its unique charm and horological significance.
And I hope that you will have it back to your collection soon. Fx
I had the opportunity to see this one in the metal for he first time just a couple of weeks ago, and I was duely impressed. I still have quite a learning curve ahead of me with regard to Lange, but even I can appreciate how nice this one is. Thanks for sharing some lovely photos of this materialization of your pleasure and pain. res[po
The depth, the silky / milky look of the dial, its charm are evident in the real, though. Trying it is adopting it. Evn if the dial has some imperfections, that adds to its charm and appeal. Yes, a great watch. Best, Nicolas
I also once owned the Anniversary, but in a weak moment, let it go, and almost immediately regreted it. Fortunately, not too long ago, basically by just being at the right place at the right time to take a phone call, I was able to replace it. Everything that you have said about the watch is true, and, yes, pictures don't do it justice. I also prefer it over the Dato, and even over my 1815 Chrono.
Hi Nico Your photos are superb. Some of the best I have seen for the watch. But in the flesh, it is even better. It is hard to describe how mesmerizing is the enamel dial. Is it my favorite Lange? Beating the Double Split and Dato Perpetual? Hmmmmm. Does a Griottes Chambertin beat a Musigny or Richebourg? Get back to you on that one. Jeff
Nicolas, it was all your original posts on this watch that drove me to lust, search, and own. I can't thank you enough. I trust that when you are ready, you will network to a beauty to own again. Best, Joe
