Matvall's inaugural post on WatchProSite highlights a captivating A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Mother-of-Pearl, a piece that challenges conventional aesthetics with its unique dial. His personal account offers a rare glimpse into the allure of a watch that reveals new facets with every glance. This article delves into the nuances of this specific reference, exploring its design choices and the broader context within Lange's storied history.

My first post here after lurking for a while... I had to celebrate it with a recent acquisition. It might not be to everyone’s liking, but I find the hues offered by the mother of pearl dial mesmerizing. Every time I glance at it, the dial surprises me with different colours: violet and green in primis, but also orange, yellow, red and light blue. The non-lumed hands fit in perfectly with this dial in my opinion. Hope you enjoy! Matt
