The "damage" you're talking about is that one i've red circled? If so, i really suggest you to wear your watches much more, with both care and levity, because tiny scratches always occur.
Yes, wear them more, enjoy them, and soon, this will blend in with everything else. Any touching the case with polish, as you’ve said, you’ll know that it is now “different”
I am the same if its about my watches or cars etc . Hate it when something like this happends . If it was me i would take care of it . Otherwise you will allways look at it when you have the watch on the wrist .

I think that it depends on what you are collecting your watches for. Were you herding a flock of safe queens for investment purposes then I would probably say: Get the little dot removed. But as far as I know your watches get worn. This inevitably goes along with some minor and maybe even major scars of life.
