On the OEM strap it’s a bit too dressy. This one, which is custom from Jean Rousseau, dresses the watch down so it’s easier worn day to day.
Someone, I cannot recall whom, posted a picture of this watch soon after it was released. And it was the first live picture which really showed the texture and colour on the dial. I was smitten. Of course, the case material enhances the whole package. I think if it was a rose gold I would be less inclined to go after it. But the honeygold is more easily worn day to day (for me).
It’s subtle it it also gives a lovely warm hue that doesn’t scream gold watch 👌
The honey gold is very, very subtle. One must pay attention to know its there! I sometimes feel that I appears like a white metal when not scrutinized. Best Gatsby
