not a great fan of the HK line, too baroque, too rich for me....The only one I like is the black enamel Tourbillon...BUUUUT I haven't seen them live so my opinion is just based on the beautiful pictures you took. thank you Mo
.. but that was the problem.... :-( Ken
For the rest, not my cup of tea... Best, Nicolas
I should say kitsch, with the worst dials they could have conceived
I'm glad that you could see it so quickly! I hope to also see it soon. If not, it will be in Geneva. About the PG case, yes, it was one of the announcements of the 2015 SIHH. The lack of roman numerals is not a problem for me. The 1815 line was obviously the one to choose to celebrate the 200th anniversary... and so, the arabic figures are mandatory. But aesthetically speaking, I'm not a big fan of this watch. I find it a bit too baroque. To be confirmed after a test. Fx
It's great to see all the Handwerkkunst pieces together. I must say I am a bit surprised to read so many negative comments about these watches. They are "show-off" watches and as such I think they show an incredible amount of craftsmanship. I am reminded of the "Grand Master Chime". Just something for Patek to put together various skills in one case. I also think they capture a certain German Baroque spirit in the dial work. Just my opinion.
