My first Lange - a RG Gen 1 Chrono was supposed to arrive yesterday afternoon but our Fedex guy had a busy day and by the time he reached our office we were closed. Fedex finally delived my watch this morning but I was not working today as I was on my way to Miami for the weekend.

My wife and I had hance to visit the FPJ BOUTIQUE in Downtown at first and then segwayed to the Design District later in the afternoon. Had a nice visit at the Vacheron store, but my highlight was visiting the ALS BOUTIQUE and meeting two great SAs - Jerome and Marcelo. Both vere very knowledgeable and extra hospitable...and I cannot wait to visit them again.

Like me, they were also getting kick out of me receiving my first Lange *today*, while NOT seeing it yet....but at least getting my kicks fondling the fine watches at their boutique.

Couple of bullet-point observations:

- OH THOSE MOVEMENTS, and the finishing are nothing like what I have in my current (pretty variable) collection!

- aventurine Saxonia is incredible in person

- REALLY liked the RG/Blue 34mm 1815 (fingers crossed they will make it at least 36-38m in the future)

- of course loved the Gen 3 RG 1815 Chrono, but cannot wait until Monday, when I'm back in the office and will be able to put my dirty paws on my Gen 1 RG reversed Panda 1815 Chrono for the first time!!

- that Platinum Perpetual / Rattrapante was simply incredible.

Lovely. I think Lange make some of the highest quality feeling watches out from the design , sturdiness of the case (there feel like they are carved out of a single ingot of metal), to finishing. I agree the copper flux is a stunner not sure why we don’t see it more. Can’t wait to see your incoming 👍

in person. Agree on the RG/Blue 1815 - if they made it 38mm it would be a perfect watch.
