Oliver (small-luxury-world) shares his impressions of his A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph after a comprehensive service, showcasing stunning photographs of the watch's renewed condition. This post delves into the satisfaction of seeing a cherished timepiece restored to its former glory, despite the significant wait and cost involved.

and to be honest I like what I see (so far smile ), even when I had to wait sooooooo long and had to pay a (small) fortune. Any regrets? No, not at all smile

But have a look by your self:

Maybe some of you can still remember how the watch looked like before. It was not a safe queen, for sure smile

Could you find any flaws/imperfections? If so, most of them are (probably) caused by the man behind the camera - me ;-)

Thanks to the service team from ALS, because you did a great job - once more!

Still didn´t wind it up and didn´t put it on my wrist. At the moment I just enjoy, step by step ...

Oliver

PS: Still the same old strap, because it is my favorite one smile

We've seen this chrono a lot but it remains an icone from the rebirth era. You've shared many impressive pictures Oliver, thanks a lot and happy you could spend time with it again. I'm sometime asking myself which Lange I should choose if only one: the chrono with its "backyard" is a definitely strong challenger. Cheers, Mark

about the details and process of the service. How much did it cost? Also, how long did you wait? I too am looking to get my 1815 Chrono serviced very soon. If you don't want to specify on the public forum, then you can always PM me! Thanks, Enrique
