Lucky you! You are right on the Datograph being unveiled in 1999. The Duometre was unveiled in 2007, though. One, the Datograph, was an instant Classic. The other is an icon to become. As for the movements, two different styles: Baroque for the Lange, more modern for the Duometre. In terms of originality, the Duometre is a champion. When I got my Duometre I was torn between the PT and your white gold version. I had the chance to compare these two directly at my AD and at that moment my choice was the PT although the decision was close in percentage ,maybe 51:49.
But I went for the WG because it was psychologically too painful to buy the same watch which was stolen to me...
