In a unique dispatch from the 2021 LA Auto Show, cazalea offers a compelling, real-time account of navigating the event's then-novel virtual format. His initial post sets the stage for a series of observations and detailed reports, providing a valuable historical snapshot of how major automotive events adapted during a period of global change. This article synthesizes cazalea's extensive coverage, highlighting key vehicle introductions and industry shifts as experienced through a digital lens.

I'm in the Lobby, a bit tired from the 100 foot walk from my bed to my office, but that's a lot better than the usual 125 mile drive to Los Angeles in the pre-dawn traffic.

Now I need to get my backpack, logo pen and notepad, and get to work! I will update this thread throughout the days I am "here".

Catch you later.

JEEP WAGONEER I missed some of the Wagoneer presentation as I was figuring out how to work through the Media Lounge and Media Center, but I was able to find the video and play it for myself. You get to drink your own coffee or tea The Thunderbolt Tea lady in Darjeeling (cutes

In the years since about 2015 when Toyota introduced its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, they have sold at total of 6500. I did a road test for WPS in 2016 . This photo is from late 2014 at the LA show. In 2016 there was ONE station (and in 2021 there is only ONE fuel station) in San Diego County, with 3.5 million residents. Now they are introducing a new generation of the vehicle, but with very little excitement, sadly. It was more like a lecture from a physics teacher and/or driving safety instruc

VOLKSWAGEN PRESENTATION id4 is the first VW electric SUV in the US. It's roughly the size and volume of the Tiguan. Starts at $40k not counting rebates and incentives. Range of up to 250 miles. Threee years of unlimited charging are included at Electrify America stations. The 82 kWh battery weighs only 1087 pounds. Unlike many electrics, this is a RWD vehicle with 50-50 weight distribution. Standard with 19 or 20 inch wheels. LED lights front and rear with light bars at each end. It's a hatch wi
