I know it’s a little late over there on the other side of the pond but here’s to all. I’m sure Nicholas is still up

Am here, and can only agree with your choice. But you should include it in our wrist scan session, this week end. [nt]

And here's to the both of you—so far more experienced than myself.

What a privilege to learn from you nearly every day. Salute! FH

I do have a bottle of chynar in my stock but lately I don't know what to do with it. Cheers my friend and I assure you you will learn a lot from this wonderful forum from great people [nt]

Well then… let me share. My preferred drink is juice of one fresh-squeezed orange over ice in a tall tumbler; add Cynar until the orange-cough-syrup-looking mix comes

two-thirds up the glass; soda water to fill. Stir. Enjoy! Quirky, pleasant… Oh, and don't forget to add that slice of orange hanging off one side of the glass. (Below pictured the "hard-core" Cynar drinker's cocktail sans soda.) And if you decide to go all the way... "Fredellini!" So dubbed by friends who were charmed by the delicious simplicity of fresh broccoli on a bed of good linguini with oil and cheese (Romano, please). Have a good week upcoming! FH

Truth to tell, the olives are not "correct." My Sicilian family (mother's side) would have served marvelous tangy dry-cured, oily, shriveled black olives

that came from my great uncle Sam's farm in California (he sent them in barrels and they resided in his sister, Carmella's, basement to be dolled out to the family in Rochester, NY. So bitter! (But especially good with the aged provolone). As a child I was repelled by them. As an adult, I find them divine! Hard to come by here amid the corn fields. And I have to say… Though not a Rosé fan, your bottle looks so inviting! Another toast to your health!
