Templetowers highlights a significant auction result for the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso à Triptyque, which sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong for a price comparable to a Patek Philippe Ref. 5711. This observation sparks a community discussion on market trends, perceived value, and the potential implications for high-complication independent watchmaking.

well, all I can say is I see the beginning of end. I guess the apocolypse is near or aliens are on the way
5711??? Lol. Zzzzz This Reverso though...unreal
While it simultaneously makes and does not make sense, I am very happy for this development because it means that, either, the price will continue to go down or that there is a bubble. Either way, it hopefully means that I can afford it in the future :p Well, anyway, congrats to the winner for buying an amazing watch at such a discounted price. Hopefully he will sell it in the future for cheaper :p
