KMII shares an initial wrist shot and first impressions of his Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Memovox, a piece celebrated for its distinctive design by Magali Metrailler and its iconic alarm complication. This post initiates a discussion among enthusiasts about the watch's impact on JLC's brand identity and its place within the broader Memovox legacy, offering insights into its design philosophy and collector appeal.

Have not had much chance to wear the Master Compressor Memovox yet but it’s about to get more wrist time soon. At any rate, thoroughly enjoying the Magali Metrailler design, the Compressor Crowns and the alarm.

Have a great weekend all!

But it is a watch which helped JLC to regain some clients. And this is the Manufacture first attempt to modernize the Polaris! I really like it. Enjoy! Best, Nicolas

I can imagine it was a bit of a shock back in the day but I feel it was a good idea nevertheless. Wonder where the designer ended up after JLC πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ Hope that something equally avant-garde is on the cards again 🀞🏻

In 2004 when the MCM was released, it had Memovox automatique on the dial. Later iterations as yours had only Memovox. Best Blomman
