On another post I am trying to figure out which watch to purchase, but I need some additional information about this specific one (JLC MC Diving Alarm NS).

One of the things I would like to know is how bright is the luminescence on this watch and how long does it stay lite ?  If you have any photos, I would love to see them.

The other thing I would like to know more about is its movement.   I know it uses a 956 movement and I read a few things about it, but didn’t get that much information as I would have liked.  If you have this watch or even if you don’t and can give me any information on this movement I would greatly appreciate it.

If you do own this watch can you give me your thoughts on it ? Its pros and cons, etc…

As always, photos are always welcome.  Thank you.

As for the Cal 956, do a search on the NSA, I wrote several posts about it. A Cal you find in the Master Memovox since 2010, in the TT Polaris, in the TT Deep Sea alarm, and in the NSA, of course. In house alarm movement, automatic, 45 hours power reserve, 16 to 20 seconds power reserve for the alarm are its basic datas. More to find in the several posts I wrote. A big improvement, compared to its predecessor, is the quick set of the date. Have a great read. Best, Nicolas

As Nicolas said there are a number of posts related to this watch, just do a Forum search and you will find a load of information including the posts from Nicolas. It is really a great watch that I can only recommend. I just love mine and my brother in law has the same one, kind of a familly affair. Best regards, George

I have seen photos of the calibre 956 with the outer perimeter of the rotor in steel and in other photos, the outer perimeter is gold colour. Are the gold model memovox supplied with real gold perimeter weighted rotors ? Thanking you in advaance. Cheers, dreamer
