Here a picture from this Trio : WWW - MOD, then Mark XI from IWC,
and finally JLC Mark VII "Weems", also a classic .

Strong Trio, but with charm: WWW, Mark11/ IWC, Weems

Have to say, really like them all, each of them has a special character,
- but for these remaining week days, I decided on two of them,
black-dialled both :

Black - dialled Duo.. Pretty cool companions

The IWC Mark -11

JLC WWW with MOD redial (Ministry of Defense)

Interestingly the stamp on the WWW's dial with "P" stands for Promethium, as an Isotope
for the illumination substance.

You will easily realize, that the JLC writing upper third is less crisp, and a bit " smudgy", which
is typical for these MOD redialling series , Ministry-of-Defense to remove the hazardious
Radium.

Hope you liked the little Military pair, which actually wears really nice
and surprisingly not at all too small..

Have a great weekend, all !
Best, hs

She has the classical markings.. Pic enclosed.. HAGWE !

.. The watch is depicted in Zaf Basha's JLC Guide Book, on pg 89 , together with some explanations in the chapter, which I assume, you may know. Here is the caseback: - Ser no is a 4 digit no ( 2 numbers erased for privacy), 40 depicts the year - above the line 1 there is the crown and A ( left) M (right); these are faded & difficult to decipher because of wear & tear. - .S.S.&S. = Smith .Stephenson & Son Caseback of Mark VIIA - Weems (1940), British Best, hs PS: - Can I also ask, what are you l
