The tribute to Geophysic (no movement inside). It's a very simple yet elegant watch. It's a perfect size on the wrist,
Love the lume dots on the side of the case, instead of being on the dial!

Thank you for the interesting write-up and great photos, Sydneyc. I was especially interested in seeing how JLC has dealt with the buzzsaw issue regarding their chosen movement for the Geophysic Tribute, as shown by the emotional messages posted in this Forum several weeks ago when the new watch was announced. The answer is utterly simple, as you indicated in your caption for the Geophysic photo, " The tribute to Geophysic (no movement inside)" : Don't include a movement in the watch! Brilliant!
It was an occasionally racuous (in a civilised manner of course!) evening, and a pleasure to attend. The watches were of course great, and the professionalism and care of the Hyatt folks of particular note. Team JLC in Australia are, as they say, tops (thanks Pierre and Sam) and it was a pleasure to be able to chat at length with Alexis. Shame about the 'empty' watch on his wrist,though... Oh, and in the era of hashtaggery, it was great to see JLC with an official hashtag for the Sydney and Melb
