In a captivating post, WatchProSite contributor amanico presents a side-by-side comparison of two horological masterpieces: his Jaeger-LeCoultre Septantième in platinum and Humanist's Breguet 5247 in white gold with an enamel dial. This 'cold summit of elegance' invites readers to consider the profound aesthetic and collecting implications of these exceptional timepieces, challenging the notion of a minimalist collection.

For me the JLC has a harmony of dial and case that gives it an overall warmer appearance. The dial and case of the 5247 seems somewhat colder, perhaps because of the dominance of the enamel dial. Both are killer timepieces but I suspect there are extremely few here who could live with a two watch collection.😏
These two are definitely in the first category.
