It was supposed to be a simple night.
JLC cocktail party at the JLC Singapore boutique to launch the Geophysic.
Nicolas aka Vlad was there as keynote speaker.

I was there to support him and the JLC friends and staff.
Unfortunately... I was distracted by the new Reverso TT 1948 with the beautiful grained dial and blued hands and indices. this is a watch which Nico and Stefan have poisoned me a lot recently... Thanks to them!

So whilst Nico was giving his speech (ie his poison), I got the watch. No wonder many PuristS have warned me about the Vlad.... I should have taken your advice more seriously ! smile

Some pics for now. Will post more soon. Hope you like the TT 1948 too

Cheers
Robin

Still considered the Rouge but went for 1948 instead

It's not as if you did not have abundant warning about Vlad.

Ah well, you are not the first to have been "persuaded" by Vlad Dracul. And there are worse fates. ;-) Seriously, Robin, that is one fine looking Reverso. I would have an equally difficult time choosing between the Rouge and the 1948, but I think you chose very well indeed. This is a nice addition to your already outstanding collection. Congratulations! Best, respo

Thank you respo!

it was indeed a tough choice. The rouge is just too special to overlook. The 1948 has a more special dial someone. I think it's my weakness for blued hands again! :) cheers robin

... great choice indeed, the size is right which fits on your wrist so well. it was still a "simple" night for you, but you brought back a "special" gift home. congrats and wear it with good health, my friend. stefan
