Amanico presents a visual comparison of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Sun Moon in both platinum and white gold, highlighting subtle differences in dial depth and movement decoration. This post offers collectors a detailed look at two distinct iterations of a highly regarded Reverso complication, inviting appreciation for their individual characteristics.

I already posted some pictures of the Reverso Sun Moon in platinum, a small limited edition of 125 pieces, so to say a rare bird.

Some weeks ago, I could take pictures of the white gold version, which is equally charming, but with a deeper dial, in my opinion.

This GT case is absolutely delicious, making of this watch a jewel.

Another detail is the decoration of the movement.

On the platinum version:

On the white gold:

Two different characters!

Best.

make it one of my favourite Reversos - adds romanticism to the dial.

I have the reverse grande sun moon 8 days in steel myself. Looking to add the one with enamel blue limited edition. Nobody wants to sell yet.

Is it true that those lovely numerals were inspired by the font used on the Paris Metro? I thought I’d read that somewhere. Regards Kev.
