dms showcases a vibrant summer transformation for his Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Rouge, opting for a custom white strap with red stitching. His post highlights the historical context of the Reverso as a sport watch favored by 1930s dandies, aiming to recapture that original 'sport-chic' spirit. This creative customization offers a fresh perspective on styling an iconic timepiece for a new season.

Summer is finally here in Paris, so I decided I needed a new strap for my newly acquired Reverso Rouge.

Let's remember that the Reverso was initially a sport watch, and that the red dial was favored by the dandys of the 30's for its non-conventional appearance.
This Rouge being a tribute to the initial Reverso from 1931, I wanted to keep (or rather re-create) the original spirit of the watch, with a sport yet elegant "dandy" look. I wanted something for the summer, and a big change from the (too) classic black croc.

After checking out a few strapmakers and chatting with other purists (thank you guys), here it is: an entirely different look for a "sport-chic" icon!

I would never say that white strap goes so well with red Reverso and cigar taste is not bad either ;) Best Damjan

I think there is much better to do, find and put on this Watch. Your choice is one of the possibilities, indeed. The red stitching is the important detail on your white strap. And your second shot is just sublime... I think we have our next Masthead! Best, Nicolas.

From the wrist shot, you have re-created the 'dandy' look and have given it more flair and a designer look. Thumbs up! fernando
