I don't think is was made for very long, but this white gold Reverso (ref. 210.6852), with its exquisite black lacquer recto, "florale" numerals, and guilloché verso, and dual day/night indications, seems to me to exude a great deal more personality than many current versions. It was originally presented on a brown alligator strap, but I find this double-ridged ostrich works especially well to accentuate the art deco details.

I have a soft spot for Reversos - especially those from a couple of decades back.

Looks really nice - a keeper. Was this the Wempe special edition? Cheers JML

The double-ridged mixes things up a little bit. Sometimes, when I want to dress this watch up, I pop on a flat black stingray strap. Sharp, but quite formal looking.
