But this vintage perlon straps are so soft, that there is hardly any damage or scratch risk. They feel like soft cloth, even silky. Best. René
What a nice NATO you found.
But it is not a NATO, this is an older kind of nylon strap, sometimes called regimental strap. You can search for them by the generic name of perlon straps, and find some nice vintage ones at good prices. The material is softer and had a more “rich” feeling than a NATO strap. Regards. René
I'd compliment it at a pub! Overall, maybe though, I'd choose a non-Nato.
