I like coffee table books.  Don't ask me why.  I just do.  Here's another way to spend some of your hard earned money.  It's a Jaeger-leCoultre coffee table book all about the REVERSO!  The Reverso is my favorite watch from Jaeger-LeCoultre.

With lots of big high quality photographs and penned by the definitive Luxury Lifestyle Freelance Writer, the inimitable Nicholas Foulkes, this book sounds very promising.

I'm really trying to discipline myself to not acquire one, as I have so many coffee table books about watches that I could stack them together and make a coffee table out of them...  But I have a feeling that I might succumb to acquiring one since it is about one of my favorite horological subjects.

The Reverso is many things to many people; but to me, it's always been a cool dress watch, a wonderful casual watch, an Art Deco icon (and I'm a big fan of Art Deco), and it's also the original sports watch (think about it, how many sporty watches were there back in 1931?).  The Reverso got me started loving watches when I was a very young boy.

11 x 14 in – 28 x 35.5 cm | 200 pages | 150 illustrations | Hardcover in a slipcase

ISBN: 9781614289555 | Text by Nicholas Foulkes | Published by Assouline | $195

I'll try to find a time after COVID to go to a Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique and flip through the pages!  Books are available through Jaeger-LeCoultre boutiques and Assouline boutiques starting on February 2021.

You're exactly right, it's because 1931 makes 2021 the 90th anniversary!

I too have been confused by Amazon

regarding this book. I first discovered there would be a Reverso book last summer when searching Amazon UK for any book about Reversos (to go with my Moonwatch Only book)...and I was gobsmacked to see one was to be published in September, I added it to my 'Wish List'. No mention of it on the Coming Soon section of Assouline. September came and went and eventually the publishing date changed to November....that became December....still no mention of it on the Coming Soon section of Assouline. The
