Hello!

I have come to notice clamping marks on a few Reversos and was wondering how common it is? It’s present on the burgundy in the same exact spot but on opposite sides (6:30 and 12:10). Haven't seen that on my Blue tribute though.

It is visible without a loupe obviously and even the way the light reflects shows a rough finish.

Is it a quality control issue? Could one set of clamps be damaged or perhaps the case finishers have the clamps too tight?

I returned my Duoface...

A number of imperfections and a movement that never functioned properly. 1000 hours of scrutiny...please!πŸ™„

the 1000 hours refer to the movement performance.

But, the level of flaws im noticing on dials and cases are simply unacceptable.

That is unacceptable for a JLC. However, mine is perfect (claasic reverso medium, bought last year)

Good to know!

so far my observation is pointing to the fact that this is overwhelmingly an issue with burgundy Reverso's sold in North America.

That doesn't look like clamping marks. It looks like they skipped a couple steps in the finishing process. Very surprising for JLC.

Very surprising indeed.

I am very disappointed and im hoping the company will track the flaws down to the individual uncharge and retrain them. Also, their QC department needs a new loupe lol
