Most of the early ones have (had) serious issues with the dial and hence almost all the ones you see which look "decently" have refinished dials. It will always be difficult to say what happened to a watch during its 79(!) years of existence, but this dial looks fairly original to me. I am sure that the hands had a "refill" at some point in time. If my memory serves me rightly (happy to be over-ruled by the forum experts) production of the Reverso started in 1931 and 1937 was the first year that the brand started to produce as Jeager LeCoultre.

.....i really love it. Also.... a "man's watch" is a watch that a "man" will wear. When someone says a watch is "too small"....i am thinking that maybe they just aren't "man enough"..... LoL Just beautiful.
.... the Reverso felt so small and thin. I have it on now since a few hours and now it just feels great. Cheers, HSTE
