Nicolas (amanico) brings to light the Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute to Reverso 1948 in Steel, a reference he argues is an understated gem within the Reverso lineage. His original post, featuring personal photographs from SIHH 2014, challenges the prevailing collector focus on other Tribute models, advocating for the 1948's unique appeal and design merits. This article synthesizes community insights on why this particular Reverso, with its slim profile and distinctive dial text, deserves a closer look from enthusiasts and collectors.

Take the case of a Tribute to Reverso from 2011, which is quite thin with its 7, 2 mm thickness, add a small seconds dial and you have a winner, which is not as famous as the Tribute to Reverso 1931 Black, Red or Green, though.

Which is strange, because it is a real killer.

The pictures I took at the SIHH in 2014, when it was unveiled:

It was produced in small quantities, which may explain why it was less known that its elder sisters.

I am totally in love with the " Fabriquรฉ en Suisse " mention on the dial. For once, a charming wording!

Enjoy,

Nicolas

It is a very good one. One of my favorites, with the Tribute Duo from 2016, in steel.
