It is so far and above the expectation.

The movement is incredible.
It is nicely and finely engraved. Much more then I expected. Actually hadn't expected the engraving and was so impressed. Didn't get a detailed enough picture to show the engraving. The movement is fixed into place by a screw and the part of movement that attaches to the crown on the back.

The magical and totally trick feature of the watch is the winding and setting of it. To do that one has to unwind and then remove the crown from where it is kept on the side of the case. It then clicks into place in the back and then can wind the movement and set the watch. Totally unique.

The bezel on the inside of the case is mother of pearl. The design on the internal portion of the watch is MOP and black ( didn't ask what material it is but suspect some stone material. It is the perfect example of Art Deco.

5 pieces of this model were made so this is a true rarity in the extreme.

Thanks for the explanation

I always wondered what the crown at the side actually "does", now I know! Regards, skyeriding

Yah I was curious as well. One does have to be gentle with it though. [nt]

I knew you would like it. And yes, you are right, it is hard to catch in picture. [nt]

It's more substantial then I expected. I was wondering if it was a man's watch and now I know that it is. My wife can share in it though. [nt]

Then... Will you add it in your collection? [nt]

Simply put, yes.

The hook was bated by the sheer uniqueness of the piece. The hook was then floated past me with the idea of such a limited series with no chance of any further "models" or iterations or editions. The hook was implanted today when I finally saw it in the metal and truly inspected and then wound it and set it. Beautiful and fun.
