Amanico's heartfelt post celebrates a decade of moderating the Jaeger-LeCoultre PuristSPro Forum, reflecting on the vibrant community he helped foster. This piece highlights the enduring friendships, shared passion, and collective knowledge that define the forum, underscoring the invaluable role of dedicated moderators in cultivating such an environment.

Time flies... 10 years, already. 10 years of shared pleasure, friendship, education, passion and love for our favorite brand.

All that thanks to all of you.

The most important thing I am very proud of, during these 10 years, is you.

A superb Community, enthusiasts, passionate, respectful of others opinion, but always ready to discuss in an elaborated ( and impressive ) way, always ready to help, to share, to add, to bring something from education to pleasure, sometimes disappointment.

I can go away for a while, without worrying to see a real mess when I am back. Even better, you take care of your place, you welcome our new members, you answer to interrogations or questions, each of you does the job with great spirit.

And when virtuality turns into reality, it is just magic. I strongly encourage you to meet each other. For those who didn't yet, just give it a try, and you'll see what true friendship means.

A memorable gathering in Italy, some 5 years ago. Only two friends.

And several wonderful GTGs in Croatia, too... Sadly I lost the pictures...

There was one thing I was thinking of: Does such a Community need a moderator while any moderator needs such a Community.

I just wish our forum to be as strong, interesting and friendly as it is, for the years to come.

A huge Thank You to each and all of you.

I also have to thank the brand I am moderating, which worked in a close collaboration with our forum.

Jaeger Lecoultre is an exciting and very interesting brand In 20 years, I was privileged to see its evolution, the different eras, new watches, mad and original creations... We were the witnesses of the Master Compressor birth, the arrival of the Gyrotourbillons, the Minute Repeaters, the Duometre, the Amvox, The Tributes, and so on...

And I will not forget the people behind the brand, from the different CEOs to the designers, watchmakers, curators, artists. The brand is a group of humans who all are important, rich, and I was lucky enough to call them friends. Some are still here, others were to other brands or activities. I will never forget them.

Best,

Nicolas

Thank you for: -the quality contributions, not only on the JLC forum -the welcoming attitude to newbies, very uncommon in “technical” forums (at least car ones) -the clear policies that makes PuristPro work so well
