Nicolas (amanico) shares his exceptional photography of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Memovox 50th Anniversary, captured at SIHH 2018. His detailed shots highlight the watch's aesthetic appeal and prompt a thoughtful comparison with the Polaris Géographique World Time. This article delves into the nuances that make these modern interpretations of JLC's iconic Polaris line so compelling for collectors.

Here are my best shots, taken at the SIHH, in 2018.

This is my favorite of the line, with the Polaris Geographique World Time.

In fact, I am hesitating a lot between these 2.

Why? Because the Geographique World Time is uber cool, with its smoke blue dial, friendly complication, and it is such a nice fiction.

The Polaris Memovox is a superb modern version of the icon.

In fact, if it had a screw in case back and crowns, I would have not hesitated and would have jumped on it.

You?

Best,

Nicolas

The Géographique World Time would be more different to anything in my collection, but the Memovox has that look. No decision yet. Kent

This version is great, but it'd be good to see it with the blue dial Cheers JML
