How many times did you see a Polaris II in the wild?

Most often, the pictures are rather " academic ".

The Polaris II, with its different dials ( blue, red and grey ) needs something different, as a very living and colorful watch.

Hence the idea of this post.

- The " Grey ".

Ok, you already saw pictures of the grey, but never in the wild with the correct alarm disc.

So, here it is, first on the roof:

Then, on some pebbles:

- Same goes with the Blue, which has recenty been included in my collection, which suffers of a deficit of photographs...

And, to end, as an extra bonus, a pertinent wrist shot, in an appropriate environment...

I will repeat it, the Polaris II is not really what I'd call a photogenic watch.

Funky, it is, with its half ovale, half round shape, it belongs to the Seventies, undisputably, and it is not everyone's taste.

BUT, the charm of this watch is here, and with time passing, it is a very pleasant companion, which gave me a lot of pleasure, this summer.

The " Grey " is much less exhuberant than the " Blue " or the " Red ", but the Polaris II, whatever the color of its dial, is a watch to live with to be able to fully understand and enjoy it.

I hope that these pictures will give the watches the justice they deserve.

Best,

Nicolas

With the Red, I hit two birds.

I close the Vintage JLC diving watches theme, and the Polaris Theme. So, yes, I need to get the Red... But strangely, this is the one I have the biggest difficulty to find! Best, Nicolas

Not exactly the model I had in mind, but why not?

I first have to test it in the real... ;) Best, Nicolas
