I could take some pictures of this new Polaris Date when I was at Watches and Wonders, and will review it a bit later, but here is a first picture, an official one, of it.

42 mm steel case, 13, 92 mm high, Cal 899 " new generation " which means 70 Hours power reserve. See through case back and this green dial...

On rubber strap, equipped with a quick change system.

Best,

Nicolas

How did you like it when handling it? It looks sharp!, however, not for me... when something is ¨trendy¨ like the green dials lately, it looses appeal to me... and in the case of Polaris, I think JLC raised the bar too high with the tribute version :P

It is like the Polaris Perpetual.... I just cannot couple with the idea of a ¨Diver¨ with a PC, maybe it is just the Neandethal in me :P

Could they have selected a less attractive shade of green?

Not so sure about the date window in white. I am looking for something new for work as I need to send my trusty speedy for service (it's 10 yr old- not malfunction at all but want to make sure seals and such good). The ceramic bathyscaphe, LUC gmt black and a few others are in contention.
